To Kill a Lion by Bruce LengemanI read this book this summer and I highly recommend it. It is written more for guys/men but women can read it. I think it can apply to women as well as men. I don't want to say too much about it because I want you to go read it for yourself but it helped me see a lot of things differently. One thing I came to realize is that so many times things we are dealing with over and over again in our life can be pointed back to a root issue in our past that we never truly dealt with in the way should have. Sometimes that root issue we brought onto ourselves, other times it is came by way of someone else but we didn't deal with it properly. I learned so many things and I know I would read it again! If you have the chance, I would read this book, it just might change you life!
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
